About me
My name is Jordan Saunders and I’ve been around construction projects and rural properties most of my adult life — building, repairing, planning, and helping people figure out what actually makes sense on the ground.
I live with my wife and two boys in the West Kootenays of British Columbia on our homestead we have developed from fully forested raw land using the lessons I have learned.
Over the years, I’ve worked on everything from small homestead projects to large, complex builds, including leading crews and advising on high-budget rural developments. I’ve also spent many years immersed in permaculture and land-based design, which has shaped how I think about long-term systems and practical tradeoffs.
What I care about most is helping people make good decisions early, build true resilience, and avoid learning everything the hard way.
